Brittany joined team TEVA in June 2021. She currently lives in Boyds, Maryland with her 2 dogs, 12 ducks, and husband. She grew up on the family farm, Savage Acres. She has lived in the DMV area for most of her life with the exception of her studies at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Brittany studied Animal Science with a specialization in equine science. Brittany also has an Associate degree in Biology and is currently applying to vet school. While living in KY, she worked at Gainesway Small Animal Clinic and Bluegrass Veterinary Specialty and Emergency. She also completed a summer internship in the Big Barn at The Kentucky Horse Park where she worked the Rolex 3 Day Event, Steeplechase Races, and gave draft horse driven trolley tours of the park.
Brittany’s love of horses began when she was very young when her uncle introduced her to Cody and Lady, his clydesdales that he frequently used for horse pulls, weddings, and other events. As a young child, she rode a Quarter Horse named “Little Miss Tequila” in dressage and hunter jumper shows and owned a draft cross named “Britney.” Brittany's love of animals can be seen on the family farm with dairy and beef cattle, goats, sheep, swine, and chickens.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys riding her motorcycle, working on cars, vegetable gardening, and shopping with her grandma. Devoted to her family, community, and agriculture, Brittany is a former 4H member and the 5th generation on her family farm. Her grandfather is an Army veteran and her brother is currently serving in the Marines.

Maria grew up in Frederick, Maryland, and started riding horses at age 7. She quickly found a passion for eventing and foxhunting while trying to learn absolutely everything she could about this incredible sport. Although her long term equine partner had to be retired from competitions in 2020, you can still find them exploring new trails on the weekend!
Maria has worked in veterinary medicine since 2017 and is thrilled to be a part of the TEVA team! She loves making connections with clients and hearing about their recent lesson or show really brightens her day!
When not in the TEVA office, you can find her reading a good book, listening to her favorite podcast, or working on her newest craft project.

Paula has been involved in the local community since 2005, and horses for more years than she will admit. She rides in several barns enjoying the benefits of learning different disciplines such as dressage and jumping. She enjoys trail riding and polo as well. She met Jay wile doing a pre-purchase exam on her horse and they've been together ever since.
Paula has a full-time corporate job, but works on all aspects of Total Equine with Dr. Joyce. As an economist, Paula brings business expertise to the table and assists with business development, client relations, process improvement and some day-to-day office management. When time permits, she rides along with Dr. Joyce on his farm calls. These are her favorite times because she cherishes caring for animals in need and the outdoors; not to mention quality time with her husband and kids. Assisting Dr. Joyce on farm calls also provides her with a different perspective of the business which lends to her business development ideas.
