Breathing issues can have roots in a variety of causes including infections and inflammation. Asthma, bronchitis, roaring, allergies, and nasal discharges are common respiratory issues. These can impact a horse’s performance and quality of life and need to be treated and managed appropriately.

With the use of our 1.5 meter color endoscope, we have the ability to evaluate on your farm:

• Transtracheal Aspirate (TTA/TTW): fluid sample from lung for lab analysis
• Bronchial-alveolar Lavage: fluid sample from lung for lab analysis
• Plans for allergy horse, “Heaves” and “Roarers”
• Allergy testing, allergy shots, allergy management
